Additional Information for Graduate Students
Master of Social WorkFull time enrollment for the Master of Social Work Program is defined as six or more crdits per semester. Due to the large number of full time enrollment possibilities each semester, ranging from 6 credits to 18.5 credits, financial aid awards for full time students will be based on an average of 10.5 credits per semester. Students who are enrolled for more than 10.5 credits should contact the financial aid office if they would like their cost of attendance adjusted to reflect actual tuition charges. Increases to tuition charges will result in increased eligibility in supplemental loan funds.
Half time enrollment in the Master of Social Work Program is defined as 3-5 credits per semester. Financial aid awards for half time students will be based on 3 credits per semester.
MSW students that will enroll for summer, must notify the Financial Aid Office (finaid@une.edu) of intended credit hours if they wish to receive financial aid for the summer semester. Students are only eligible to receive living expenses for the number of months they are enrolled, ex. May - June enrollment includes 2 month of living expenses.
The Financial Aid Office will verify enrollment after the add/drop period has ended for each semester and make adjustments as required.
