Residency/Relocation Loans

Because your residency training takes place after you finish medical school, the costs associated with this training cannot be included as part of your cost of attendance.  This means that the Financial Aid Office cannot certify loan funds for these expenses.

Residency/Reloaction Loans are designated for these costs (interviwing costs, travel, moving, etc...).  These loans do not require that the Financial Aid Office certify your eligibility.  Approval is based on satisfactory credit for the borrower.  We have includes a list of lenders that offer these type of loans:

Total Higher Education Residency Loan

Chase Health Residency Loan

CitiAssist Health Profession Residency Loan Citibank

MEDLOANS MEDEX Loan AAMC/Sallie Mae
