$1 Million
Scholarship Fund
The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine transforms students into health care leaders. Scholarship support is a critical part of obtaining the best and brightest students to be a part of the vision for UNE’s medical school.

In order to provide for these students, Marc Hahn, DO, senior vice president for health affairs and dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, has outlined the goal of establishing $1 million Scholarship Fund for COM students. Two matching opportunities are being offered to meet this challenge:
The President’s Challenge
President Danielle N. Ripich, Ph.D. has announced The President’s Challenge, in which any gift in support of scholarships for COM students will be matched up to $250,000.
Doctors for Maine’s Future Scholarship Program
The state of Maine established the Doctors for Maine Future Scholarship Fund to provide $25,000 scholarships for medical students with Maine roots. In order to seize this opportunity, UNE must match state funding dollar for dollar with philanthropic contributions.
Please consider making a gift in support of the College of Osteopathic Medicine $1 Million Scholarship Fund. The scholarships created will have an immediate impact and lasting influence on the education of our medical students.
