The founders of the College contributed greatly of their time, energy, expertise and experience—and many of them are still contributing. The ideas of “giving back to the profession” and “supporting future generations of osteopathic physicians” is deeply ingrained in the history and tradition of osteopathic medicine. A line from Osteopathic Oath reads, "To my college I will be loyal and strive always for its best interests and for the interests of the students who will come after me."
