Sue Stableford, M.P.H., M.S.B.
The Health Literacy Center was co-founded in 1990 by the late Jane Root, Ph.D., a national literacy expert, and Sue Stableford, M.P.H., M.S.B.

Stableford continues as Director and Principal of the Center. She is a health educator, trainer, and consultant with a rich and varied background in health communications.
