Administrative Assistant
The University of New England seeks an administrative assistant to begin about July 1, 2008, to coordinate and carry out a variety of key administrative support functions of the online graduate program in the Education Department. The primary functions will include:
- tracking and supporting communication with faculty regarding course instructions
- creating faculty contracts
- professional development and training opportunities
- ordering textbooks
- overseeing the copying of courses
- the distribution of faculty and prospective faculty logins
- maintaining the login web page
The successful candidate will:
- communicate with adjunct faculty, IT, and our web provider.
- attend to a variety of matters related to the details of implementation of the online graduate courses.
- troubleshoot issues regarding faculty U-online access, MYUNE access, and course access.
- serve as primary liaison for these technologies that directly affect the faculty’s ability to perform their duties as online instructors.
- assist the Coordinator of Graduate Programs in setting up professional development through providing administrative support such as, establishing conference calls, setting up meetings, and assist the other staff assistant as needed in the implementation of the graduate online program.
- have the qualifications of and carry out other general administrative assistant functions at the University of New England.
