Assistant Professor of Microbiology

A tenure-track, Assistant Professor position is available in the Department of Microbiology.  Candidates will be expected to develop an independent research program in a microbiology-related area that will eventually attract extramural finding.  The successful applicant will be the course director and principal lecturer in the Medical Virology course, given to first year medical students.

Qualifications include

• a doctoral degree (Ph. D., D.O., or M.D.)
• significant experience in teaching medical microbiology
• postdoctoral experience
• a commitment to excellent teaching.
