The Department of Mathematical Science at the University of New England invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Lecturer position for the fall semester of 2014. Extension to the spring semester of 2015 is possible depending upon enrollments. Primary responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester and engaging in departmental and college service activities. Teaching assignments will include courses in Introductory Statistics and Intermediate Statistics for Life Science majors.
Minimum qualifications include an earned Master’s in Statistics with an emphasis on Biostatistics preferred. Experience teaching college-level statistics supported by the use of statistical software is also required.
