The University of New England’s Department of Biology invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Lecturer position to teach Cell and Molecular Biology, Organismal Genetics, General Biology, and other courses depending on need and expertise of candidate. Individuals with significant experience using technology and digital media are encouraged to apply. The appointment is a 9-month position beginning Aug. 18, 2014. The desired candidate will have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to participate in service to the department, college and university, curriculum development, academic advising, recruiting and other duties as assigned. Requirements include a masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
