Job Description
The Department of Philosophy at the University of New England invites applications for an Assistant Lecturer in Philosophy starting in Fall 2012.
The position is continuing, full-time (9 month), and non-tenure track. Area of specialization is open but competence in ancient philosophy and epistemology is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a variety of introductory, core and advanced courses including problems of philosophy, human traditions, ancient philosophy, and epistemology and will be a full member of the faculty, with advising and service responsibilities..
Qualifications
A.B.D. is required, but a Ph.D. is preferred. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required
