Job Description
The position is full-time faculty members of UNECOM on either a tenure-track with rank commensurate with the candidate’s training and experience. It is anticipated that duties will involve a combination of academics, service, research and/or administration. The College also invites other qualified faculty to inquire as to other anticipated opportunities. Microbiology Faculty The Microbiology Department at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track position or non-tenure track faculty position at the level of assistant or associate professor

Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D., D.O., or M.D. degree and substantial experience in teaching medical students and medical virology and other aspects of microbiology. Postdoctoral research training in virology/microbiology is highly desirable. Candidates are expected to be able to develop an independent research program that will eventually attract extramural funding. Related research areas will be considered.
