Job Description

Thre are two research assistant positions available in the Department of Biology, College of Arts and Sciences, University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. The project involves investigation of the role of the insect steroid hormone ecdysone in the nervous system of the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include experience/interest in:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • Drosophila genetics
  • Behavioral assays
  • Steroid signaling
