Video Specifications & Distribution
The Marketing and Communications Office along with Information Technology Services maintains several channels for broadcasting videos to both an external and internal audience including iTunes U, YouTube, Facebook, Blackboard, UNE website, etc. For this reason maintaining a consistent visual identity is vital. Below are some guidelines to help facilitate that.
All videos must have the following unless otherwise indicated:
- Opening and closing splash videos or for shorter videos a splash screen
- Opening screen for department (if applicable) in white on specified blue background, see below for color value
- Opening screen for title of event in white on specified blue background
- White titling for department and/or speaker name with a solid black drop shadow (if available) at a distance of 1 in the bottom left corner or white titling with no drop shadow on a blue bar (slight opacity on bar only if necessary)
- UNE mark in the bottom right corner with a slight opacity if necessary (optional for not emulating from a live stream capture)
- All text in Franklin Gothic Standard Book font. Arial can be substituted if Franklin Gothic is not available
The following video provides a short example of what the video should look like when complete.
