Study Abroad Opportunities for Undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences

The Center for International Education and the College of Arts & Sciences have a wide range of study abroad opportunities for undergraduate students.   

The Center promotes the goals of international cooperation and understanding through rigorous academic programs, overseas study opportunities, student-faculty research projects and a host of special programs designed to address current issues in international relations and cultural studies.

Goals of Service

The mission of the Center for International Education is to provide leadership on global education initiatives by helping to shape and implement the agenda for global education on the campus. In this regard, the office sees its most important priorities to include:

  1. Collaborate with faculty and students to further internationalize the curriculum
     
  2. Advocate for and help to implement programs of study and academic experiences that prepare students to be globally competent
     
  3. Identify and support faculty in seeking opportunities to acquire relevant international teaching and research experiences
     
  4. Engage with student organizations, academic departments and other units to promote cross-cultural understanding on the campus and in the local community
