Faculty Information


The University of New England Information Technology Services provides faculty with a variety of technology tools to aid in the teaching experience. These services include:

  • Teaching labs equipped with faculty specified software presentation facilities.
  • The ITS Helpdesks at extension 2200 (UC) and extension 4400 (WCC) to assist in basic troubleshooting of computer and software issues.
  • myUNE for faculty and student communication and forums.
  • U-Online for registration and transcript information.
  • UNE Online Learning System for online instruction.
  • Netcasting (a/ka/ Podcasting) capabilities for audio, video and pdf files.
  • UNE Drop Box for short term (two weeks) storage and transfer of large files.
  • UNE Filestore for long term (four years) storage of larger course material such as presentation files.

Faculty and staff can also request personal or organizational websites, hosted internally, to provide more specialized or customized information to the University community.
