Off-campus Access to Databases - Trouble Shooting
If you typed in your University ID but were told that you were not authorized:

Check your barcode number and make sure that you have used the correct number. |

Make sure that you have registered at one of the University libraries. |
AOL Users:

|
Dial up to AOL using the AOL software. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Do you have a full (non AOL) version of a web browser? If not, you must download either Netscape or Internet Explorer. |

| |
|
Open the Netscape (or Internet Explorer) browser. DO NOT disconnect from AOL. You need to maintain your telephone connection to AOL. The AOL software will still run in the background while you use the Netscape (or Internet Explorer) browser. |
Unable to access and you previously used the old access method where browser configuration was required:

You may have to unconfigure your off-campus computer's Internet browser. See Instructions. |
