Library Research Instruction to Support Teaching:
UNE librarians' highest priority is to support the University's academic programs. Students often need extra guidance on choosing and using appropriate library resources. We provide a variety of instruction services to support the curricula and other information and research needs of UNE students, faculty and staff:
General library orientations
Course- or discipline-specific instruction
Assignment-specific instruction
Compilation of resource lists
Individual research consultations
Hands-on workshops
Vendor-sponsored training
Both the University campus and Westbrook College campus Libraries have the capacity to offer hands-on training sessions, which are most effective for learning.
Interested parties are encouraged to call the librarians at their home campus to discuss their library research instruction needs. We will tailor our offerings to meet your class's needs:
* On the University campus, please contact Cadence Atchinson 602-2497 or Barb Swartzlander 602-2315.
* On the Westbrook College campus, please contact Bobby Gray 221-4323 or John Hutchinson 221-4333.
