UNE Libraries' Interlibrary Loan Policy

Eligible Borrowers
UNE faculty/staff/students holding a valid UNE ID may request materials through Iinterlibrary Loan.

Loan Periods
The loan periods for Interlibrary Loan materials are determined by the lending libraries, and may vary, but generally range from three to six weeks.

Request Limits
There is a limit of 10 requests per week for any individual.

Renewals
Renewals are strictly at the discretion of the lending libraries, and can be requested if submitted at least 3 days before the item's due date.  Overdue Interlibrary Loan materials cannot be renewed.

Notices 
Borrowers will be notified by email when materials arrive.
 
Overdue Charges
Borrowers are responsible for Interlibrary Loan charges authorized at the time of request and assessed by the lending library.

Borrowers are responsible for the return of borrowed materials by the due date and any fees assessed by the lending library for overdue, damaged, lost, or unreturned materials.

A $15.00 non-refundable late fee will be charged for each item more than 15 days overdue.  Interlibrary Loan privileges will be suspended until overdue items are returned.
