CIAO (Columbia International Affairs Online)

A full text source for coverage of international relations, comparative politics, area studies, international law and human rights, security and strategic studies, development and globalization, and peace and conflict studies.

JSTOR

Provides online access to back issues of core scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, & sciences. The current 2-5 years are not included, but complete back runs are provided whenever possible.

Project Muse

Provides full text of  journals in the humanities and social sciences, including literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, & gender studies.

ProQuest Central

 A multidisciplinary database,  over 160 subject areas are covered extensively including business and economics, health and medical, news and world affairs, technology and the social sciences . 

ProQuest Historical Newspapers

Searches 5 historical newspapers simultaneously: Guardian and Observer: 1791-2003,Hartford Courant: 1764-1985,New York Amsterdam News: 1922-1993,New York Times: 1851-2007,Washington Post: 1877-1994.
