Annals of American History

Provides access to thousands of original full text source documents on United States history from 1493 to the present. Includes speeches, essays, biographies, landmark court decisions, poems, interviews, and editorials from more than 1,500 authors. State of Maine funded.

JSTOR

Provides online access to back issues of core scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, & sciences. The current 2-5 years are not included, but complete back runs are provided whenever possible.

Project Muse

Provides full text of  journals in the humanities and social sciences, including literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, & gender studies.

ProQuest Central

 A multidisciplinary database,  over 160 subject areas are covered extensively including business and economics, health and medical, news and world affairs, technology and the social sciences . 

RefWorks

Web-based reference management tool to collect references from online databases, websites and other sources. Easily insert citations into papers and automatically format reference lists. Sharing tools for groups.
