Community Service Overnight

This program takes place prior to the Traditional Campus-Based Orientation session, and ends in time for you to participate in it fully.

$75 additional cost

This program provides you with the chance to participate in a greater range of projects over an extended period of time. Current UNE students act as Trailblazer in the Community Guides and provide opportunities throughout the experience for you to learn about UNE's community partners and to ask questions about adjusting to life at UNE. Guides also provide both opening and closing activities, and time for the group to reflect on the different experiences and bond. If you are looking to learn more about the surrounding community, this program is ideal. The program works to connect you with the surrounding area and to promote a culture of service right from the very beginning of your college experience. Overnights are spent in one of the Residence Halls, and meals are provided both on campus and at the volunteer sites.
