Summer 2015 New Student and Transfer Student Parents
The next step for parents:
Parents and families are an integral part of the the transition for students to their University experience. Although this is an exciting time for families, we understand parents may still have questions about how to make that transition successfully and what it means to be a member of the "UNE Family."
The University offers many resources for parents and families. All students must attend a New Student Orientation before classes start in August. UNE offers a Parent Program for each of the five summer sessions. Because we understand the difficulties parents may encounter in actually trying to get to campus to attend an information program, the workshops are filmed and available online by mid-summer. The link to last year's program is currently available in the drop down menu above or by going to the page directly. University offices are open daily during the week and are staffed to answer parent and student questions.
