This is a four- day, three-night outdoor learning experience partnering with the Appalachian Mountain Club. Students will paddle to island campsites, where they will spend the nights camping as a group. While camping, students will engage with their peers and enjoy the time spent outdoors canoeing, sleeping in tents and cooking meals on small camp stoves. Students should be comfortable around water, and some canoeing experience is recommended, though not required.

This is a Challenging Program:
Trips in this category are designed for students who want to experience outdoor adventures in remote settings. Students will reside in tents or semi-permanent structures, eat meals prepared by the group and professional guides and enjoy all that our beautiful region has to offer. Bathroom facilities typically will be outhouse style accommodations.
