Elizabeth De Wolfe, Ph.D., professor of history, was a contributor to a new online exhibition on the Maine Historical Society's Maine Memory Network. The three-part exhibition titled "Biddeford, Saco and the Textile Industry,” was the subject of a story on March 4, 2010 in the Journal Tribune (Biddeford). De Wolfe's section, “The Murder of Mary Bean,” describes the tragic end of a young mill worker, who was the subject of her latest book, The Murder of Mary Bean and Other Stories. The book won the 2008 Book Award from the New England Historical Association. View the exhibition.
