Anouar Majid interviewed by Tangier-based international radio station

Anouar Majid, Ph.D., UNE associate provost for global initiatives and director of the Center for Global Humanities, was interviewed by the Tangier-based international radio station Medi1 about his childhood in Tangier, American-Muslim relations, and the Moroccan exception during the Arab Spring.  The interview, conducted in Arabic in early November, was broadcast on December 3, 2011.

Majid is the author of four critically acclaimed books on Islam and the West, including We Are All Moors: Ending Centuries of Crusades against Muslims and Other Minorities. His latest book, Islam and America: Building a Future without Prejudice, is scheduled for release later this month.
