The DO publishes UNECOM student Jeremy Forcé's column on his NIH research fellowship

The DO, an online news outlet of the American Osteopathic Association, on Jan. 20, 2011 published a column by UNECOM fourth-year student Jeremy Forcé, who wrote about his experience as the first osteopathic medical student to be awarded a fellowship in the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Clinical Research Training Program.

He worked with Giuseppe Giaccone, M.D., Ph.D., who is the chief of medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research. As a fellow, he designed and ran a retrospective study comparing two methods of measuring cancer tumor progression.
