Kathryn Loukas made presentations to NADD and also at the Maine Occupational Therapy Association

Kathryn M. Loukas, OTD, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, associate clinical professor and associate program director of Occupational Therapy made two presentations the week of Oct. 31, 2011.  She was a highlighted speaker for NADD,  the National Association for Persons with Developmental and Mental Health needs in Nashville, TN on November 3.  Dr. Loukas presented with Laurie Raymond, LCSW of Port Resources on Partnerships to Promote Independence of Young Adults with Intellectual Disability and Mental Health Needs. This presentation included the input of two faculty/student research studies in the occupational therapy program.  This important content was also presented at the Maine Occupational Therapy Association on Saturday, November 5.
