Erica Page named GlobaLinks alumni ambassador to promote study abroad

Erica Page (’14), an animal behavior major with a minor in marine biology, is one of 28 students from campuses across the nation who have been named as alumni ambassadors by GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, a provider of study-abroad and internship programs across the globe for college-level students.  It promotes academic, cultural, personal, professional, and social discovery.

As an alumni ambassador, Page, who studied abroad in Australia last semester, attended a conference in Colorado in July 2013, where she received training in event management and a small budget to cover event expenses.  She will promote study abroad through campus events, peer advising and online social networking.

Page will be considered for the position of assisting GlobaLinks staff with the July 2014 orientation, Bridging Cultures, for new study-abroad students, which will take place in New Zealand.
