Janie McDaniel presents at Physician Assistant Education Association meeting in Philadelphia

Master's in Medical Education and Leadership (MMEL) student Janie McDaniel, B.S.M.T., MLS(ASCP)SC,  presented both a poster and an oral presentation on her MMEL research titled, “Central Application Service for Physician Assistants CASPA Ten-Year Report,” at the Physician Assistant Education Association meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last month.

Her presentation provided an analysis of national trends in applications to physician assistant master's programs. She conducted this research as part of an independent study course for UNE's MMEL program.

McDaniel is director of admissions in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Wake Forest School of Medicine.​​
