Artwork by Erinn McCusker on display at Campus Center

"Universal Energy," a collection of paintings by Erinn McCusker, will be on display at the University of New England’s Biddeford Campus Center from March 29 through May 2, 2015.

A Maine artist, McCusker studied oil painting with New Hampshire artist George Tsakiris from 2006 to 2010. She has since studied painting at Maine College Art, University of Southern Maine and River Tree Arts. She was the first artist to paint in Georgia O'Keeffe's garden at the artist's Abiquiu, New Mexico, house in 2012 and considers this a pivotal turning point in her career as an artist.

McCusker is a colorist and conveys the motion of the universe through abstract forms and vivid, emotion-filled colors. She has been inspired by the works of Vincent Van Gogh, Marsden Hartley and Georgia O'Keeffe.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. UNE’s Campus Center is located at 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Diane Noble by email or phone (207-284-6394).
