Faculty members Emily Dornblaser and Matthew Lacroix receive MMEL degrees from UNE

Emily Dornblaser, Pharm.D., MMEL, and Matthew Lacroix, Pharm.D., BCPS, MMEL, both assistant professors in the College of Pharmacy, recently completed UNE’s Master of Science in Medical Education Leadership (MMEL) degree program.

The MMEL program was developed jointly by the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Office of Medical Education at Maine Medical Center. 

Its purpose is to prepare health professions educators to play leadership roles in a variety of medical and health care training programs. The MMEL provides advanced education in the areas of curriculum and instruction, leadership and administration, and educational research and evaluation, and it provides opportunities for immediate and on-going application to students’ unique professional environments.
