Marilyn Gugliucci presents at European Union for Geriatric Medicine Congress

Marilyn R. Gugliucci, Ph.D., director of Geriatrics Education and Research, presented her two immersion research projects at the European Union for Geriatric Medicine Congress in Oslo, Norway.

The juried presentations included “Learning by Living: Life Altering Medical Education Nursing Home Immersion Research,” which was selected to be presented orally and “48 Hour Hospice Home Immersion: Advancing Medical Education Beyond the Classroom.” Members of the class of 2017 from the College of Osteopathic Medicine were listed as co-authors on the poster: Taylor Bryne, Caitlin Farrell, Andrea Gaul, Himanshu Malhotra, Kelly McVan and Natasha Tobarran. These students participated in the Hospice Home Immersion in early 2015.
