Ron Hills hosts high school students at annual computer modeling workshop

Ron Hills, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is holding a week-long computer modeling workshop for high school students from Baxter Academy for Technology and Science on June 15–19 in the Hannaford Pharmacy Practice Lab on UNE’s Portland Campus.

At this workshop, 14 Baxter students will participate alongside UNE Pharmacy students in hands-on laptop sessions that provide an introduction to computer science and molecular modeling.

Baxter Academy is a public charter high school with a one-to-one laptop program and curriculum focused on project-based learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
