Elizabeth De Wolfe, professor of history in the Department of History and Philosophy, has been selected to attend a National Endowment for the Humanities Institute on writing for broad audiences. It will be held March 5-6 in Tampa, Florida.

The workshop, led by the editors of Object Lessons, a book and essay series published by Bloomsbury and the Atlantic magazine, will work with humanities scholars and non-fiction authors to craft writing that informs and appeals to a non-academic audience yet retains the research that is that foundation of good scholarly writing.
