On February 17, 2017, students, faculty and staff from University of New England shared their talents with the UNE Community at the 42nd annual Doc Samuel’s Variety Show.

Doc Samuel’s Variety Show was founded by now retired UNE Professor Doc Samuels in 1975. This year, President Danielle Ripich, Ph.D., joined the fun, performing a skit about the decrowning of the "UNE Queen," an appropriate theme for Ripich’s final year as UNE President. In the skit, several students “auditioned” to take on the role. These students played people with funny qualifications for the job, including a Dairy Queen, a Queen Bee and a Prom Queen.
