A University of New England Doctor of Physical Therapy student has been chosen for a prestigious national mentorship program.  Matthew D’Elia from the class of 2017 was accepted to the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Mentorship Program.

This highly competitive program matches select students in the final year of their physical therapy education with a local section mentor for a period of six months. The program provides a unique opportunity to build relationships with a clinical expert and a professional network of individuals who are physical therapy advocates and leaders at the national level.
