UNE faculty and students well represented in occupational therapy textbook

Occupational Therapy Essentials for Clinical Competence

The third edition of Occupational Therapy Essentials for Clinical Competence, co-authored by Nancy McRae, M.S., OTR/L, FAOTA, University of New England associate professor, was recently released, with chapters authored and contributed to by faculty and alumni from UNE’s Health, Wellness, and Occupational Studies Department (HWOS) and Department of Occupational Therapy.

In response to national accreditation standards for occupational therapy education, the third edition continues to have a unique focus with each of the accreditation standards reflected in an appropriate chapter. Each chapter also has an evidence-based research chart and a student self-assessment section.
