"The early college program in neuroscience was probably the most amazing experience of my life. It was exhausting and fast-paced, but so exciting and fun. From the engaging lectures and numerous lab tours and activities, I learned more than I thought I ever could have in three short weeks. I was worried three weeks might be too long, but now I wish that it had never ended! I carry so many fond memories with me. The other students were awesome, and we all got along very well. Almost like we'd known each other forever. Luckily, I live close enough to another student that we're able to get together a few times a month. The resident assistants were super fun, helpful, and kind. In addition to the incredible classes and people, I loved the campus. Plenty of wildlife and it's right on the water; you better believe we took advantage of that! (After our homework was done, of course.) This program also gave me a preview of college. Before, I was very nervous to go, but now I have a better idea of what to expect, and I can't wait for college. Largely due to my stellar experience with the early college program, I think UNE will be one of my top choices when I get ready to apply next year."
