By Telephone

Student telephone numbers are not given out by the University because we respect the privacy of our students. Each room in our residence halls is equipped with telephone jacks so students are able to install telephones in their room. Please make a note of your student’s number for easy reference when you need to contact your student.

In case of an emergency or an urgent need to contact your student by telephone, contact the Student Affairs Office at the University Campus in Biddeford (207-602-2372) or the Westbrook College Campus in Portland (207-221-4212). Members of the Student Affairs staff will try to contact your student for you.

Each student has an email address on the University of New England’s myUNE web portal. Please note the email address assigned to your student as we do not distribute this information to the public.

By Mail

University Campus in Biddeford

All resident students (those living in any residence hall on campus) are automatically assigned a numbered full service box to receive first class mail and notification of packages. Resident mailboxes are located in two locations on campus: All students residing in East Hall, West Hall and South Hall will be assigned a box located in East Hall and box numbers are designated with the letter “R” All other residents are assigned mailboxes in Avila Mailroom.

U.S. mail received must be addressed as follows (with the students mailbox number replacing the 0’s)

Hint: Do not use the word Box or PO Box in the address, this will delay your mail at the City Post Office.

Westbrook College Campus in Portland

All resident students are automatically assigned a numbered full-service box to receive their first-class mail on campus.

U.S. mail received must be addressed as follows (with the student’s campus mailbox number replacing the 0s):

Hint: do not use the word "box" in your address, as mail sometimes is diverted to boxes at the city Post Office. Students must notify correspondents of their current box number.
