Alanna Carlin joined the Applied Exercise Science faculty in 2008. Prior to joining the UNE community she worked in both clinical and sport performance settings. Carlin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Carlin received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Science from University of New Hampshire and her Master’s degree in Physical Education - Biomechanics from Eastern Washington University. Her interests include sports nutrition, exercise testing, exercise prescription, and acrobatic sports. Carlin oversees the Nutrition Minor for Exercise and Sport Performance students.
