Anne-Marie Marie Davee

Anne-Marie is a Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of experience in the field of nutrition and health promotion.  She has worked in a wide variety of settings including education, business, non-profit and health care.  She most recently served as the Wellness Director for Casco Bay YMCA and as a School Health Coordinator in RSU No. 5 (Durham-Freeport-Pownal). Prior to these roles, Anne-Marie was employed by the University of Southern Maine Muskie School of Public Service as Coordinator II: Community Health Initiatives providing her nutrition and physical activity expertise to schools state-wide.  She also served as Adjunct Faculty for the USM College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions.  Anne-Marie worked in the corporate setting for 14 years at Hannaford, managing both their employee wellness programs and their consumer information department.  Earlier in her career she worked as a clinical dietitian at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Central Maine Medical Center and Stephens Memorial Hospital. Anne-Marie is a competitive athlete having completed 20 (26-mile) marathons and 11 triathalons, including qualifying for and competing in the first Womens Olympic Marathon trials in 1984.  She has received numerous awards including the U.S. Surgeon General's Healthy Youth for a Healthy Future Champion Award (2008) and was inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame (2000).
