Bernhard Bringewald

Dr. Bringewald was born in Germany and came to the U.S. in high school. He completed both his B.A. in economics as well as his D.M.D. degree at Boston University. Following his time at BU, Dr. Bringewald completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) in Bangor, Maine. After the residency, Dr. Bringewald worked in the Oral Surgery department at a hospital in his hometown of Recklinghausen, Germany. While there, he had the opportunity to participate in two one-month-long international volunteer trips to Nepal and Ghana. Dr. Bringewald came back to Maine in the fall of 2013 and worked at Federally Qualified Community Health Centers in Northern Maine. After serving as a preceptor for the UNE CDM community-based externship program, Dr. Bringewald came on board as a full-time faculty member in the fall of 2017.
