Edward Dorr

After receiving his doctarate Ed worked for several years as an advisor in the Attorney General's Office, until leaving to teach full time for the next six years.  His attention then shifted to private business where he founded and operated three small businesses over the next twenty years, primarily involved with the  financing and development of real estate. Ed was extremely pleased when the opportunity to return to the classroom presented itself here at UNE.  His courses have been in a number of applied fields of economics, including microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, health economics and finacial economics.  His objectives, beyond an understanding of the disicipline of economics, are to provide meaningful applicaations of economic theory to actual situations encountered in both private buisness and the public sector, gleaned from personal experiences.
