Garrick is a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Program Coordinator within the Center for Health Innovation. His work on the Maine SNAP-Ed grant includes overseeing the implementation of the SNAP-Ed work plan in accordance with USDA SNAP-Ed and Maine DHHS guidance. In addition, Garrick provides nutrition technical assistance and training to Maine SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators as well as other state agencies or organizations that provide services to people eligible for SNAP. He acts as a contract manager to in Central, Penquis, Downeast and Aroostook Public Health Districts. Lastly, Garrick coordinates with statewide partners to enhance and/or deliver nutrition education programs and obesity prevention services to people eligible for SNAP.
