Jennie came to UNE in 2010 and joined the Communications Office in 2012.  She graduated summa cum laude as the salutatorian from Colby College in 1999 as an English major.  A Rhodes Scholarship finalist, she attended Oxford University in England, where she specialized in Renaissance poetry.

Jennie’s work in Communications spans several areas.  She writes feature stories and news stories for the UNE website and crafts press releases about the University. Jennie is the copy editor and a contributing writer for the UNE Magazine.  She also edits and proofreads all written materials produced by the Office of Communications and serves as Communications’ liaison to other institutional-level UNE offices.

Jennie is the mother of two children. Her interests include weight-lifting, sewing, cooking and baking, and historic homes.
