Jessica Bates

Dr. Jessica Bates is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the College of Pharmacy at UNE.  Dr. Bates earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Husson Univeristy in 2015 followed by an ambulatory care-based PGY-1 residency at Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) in Bangor, ME, where she continues to practice as an ambulatory care pharmacist.  Specializing in the areas of diabetes and anticoagulation, Dr. Bates was one of the first pharmacists in Maine to obtain a collaborative drug therapy management agreement with the prescribers at her practice site.  She enjoys forming lasting relationships with her students during their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotations and is passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care.
