Kenneth Lee McCall

Kenneth 'Mac' McCall, BSPharm, PharmD, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of New England College of Pharmacy.  He earned his BS Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and completed a primary care residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs and OUHSC.  Prior to moving to Maine with his wife and son, he was an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for eleven years.  His leadership roles have included President of the Maine Pharmacy Association, Director of the first accredited Community Pharmacy Residency Program in Texas, Head of the Community Care Division at TTUHSC, and Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. 

He is currently focused on developing an outstanding pharmacy curriculum through partnerships between the UNE faculty, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in New England.  He is passionately committed to the pharmacist's role in community health and advancing pharmacy education.  Toward those goals, he serves on the Maine Pharmacy Association Board of Directors and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Pharmacy Education and Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning.
