Larry Sweeney earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1981. He has practiced in both retail pharmacy and hospital pharmacy, and is currently a pharmacy manager at a mass merchandiser pharmacy in Massachusetts. While working full-time as a pharmacist, he attended law school at the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts and earned his Juris Doctor degree (Cum Laude) in 1991. He currently maintains a private law practice part-time while continuing to work full-time as a pharmacist. He provides continuing education lectures to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, lecturing on the topic of pharmacy law. Larry began teaching in 2011 and travels to the university from his residence in Chelmsford, Massachusetts to practice his new found passion of educating our future pharmacists on the legal aspects of pharmacy practice. Larry was recently appointed as a member of the Continuing Education Advisory Council for the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy for a 3 year term. Larry is married to Sheila, and they have a 15 year old son Stephen who is a sophomore in Chelmsford High School and who has expressed an interest in becoming a pharmacist. Larry also has a 28 year-old daughter, Kerstie, who has given Larry two beautiful granddaughters - Sydney (7) and Evelyn (3).
