At University of New England, Dr. Stirling teaches education leadership and curriculum development courses. As a consultant she leads classes and workshops, confers and writes on challenge-solving inquiry learning, educators’ developmental peer coaching, and related topics. Dr. Stirling serves as Journal of Maine Education Editor, Maine ASCD, Vice President and leader of ASCD EDge’s Project-Based Inquiry Learning.

Dr. Stirling had co-developed our CAGS program course overview and  developed Instructional Leadership and Supervision and Evaluation of Instructional Personnel.  Instructional Leadership focused on supporting teachers’ leadership as peer coaches, mentors, and professional learning group members. Supervision and Evaluation focused on developmental supervision.  A former teacher, administrator, and instructional coach, Dr. Stirling continues to spend time in schools, working with students, teachers, and administrators.
