Leslie Ouellette

Currently, Leslie is the  SNAP-Ed Obesity Prevention Coordinator within the School of Community and Population Health. Her work on the SNAP-Ed grant includes overseeing the training and implementation of policy, systems, and environmental related to nutrition for low-income families in Maine. In addition, Leslie assists in coordinating the social marketing initiatives of the grant including both print and online marketing. She is responsible for exploring and implementing new technology strategies to streamline processes for communication, data entry, among other program necessities. Lastly, Leslie connects with other SNAP-Ed implementing agencies across the U.S. to identify new initiatives and opportunities, keeping Maine's program current as well as continuing with evidence-based strategies.
