Lillian Cardell

Lillian Cardell is a graduate of Walden University with an MSN in nursing education.  Lillian comes to us with 27 years of clinical experience, most of that in the high acuity intensive care setting, a specialty which she is certified in.  Having been a traveling nurse intermittently during her career, she has seen much of the country and different nursing styles.  Currently working in the intensive care unit at Southern Maine Heath Care and throughout her career, Lillian has been a preceptor to new nurses, newly hired experienced nurses, and student nurses. Additionally, here at UNE, Lillian has an integral role in the Simulation Lab for senior nursing students.   Her varied experiences provide the students with a dynamic and realistic knowledge base during unfolding case studies.  The clinical skills learned in the SIM Lab setting allows for an authentic clinical experience time that her students can reliably disseminate into practice.
